For the past twenty years, UNIS has made
significant inroads as a credible source of
information to newspapers, television, and
radio journalists who make Washington, D.C.
their base of operation. Media
accomplishments range from setting up
interviews, press conferences, writing
letters to major newspapers, and issuing
press releases.
UNIS maintains an
active media relations department in order to
provide timely information on events taking
place in Ukraine and in-depth analysis of
Ukrainian issues. Information packets are
distributed regularly to the media,
governmental agencies, educational
institutions, and the private sector on major
issues of concern.
