UNIS
and the Community
The UCCA's UNIS office
was opened over twenty years ago to serve the
interests and needs of the Ukrainian American
community. UNIS works at the direction of the
UCCA's Executive Board, and like the Board,
is responsible to the membership of the
organization.
UNIS functions as a
liason between the UCCA membership and the
bureaucracy of Washington D.C. facilitating
reciprical communication. Monitoring US
policy, events and the decision-making
process in the capital, UNIS then provides
this information to our membership, helping
to keep them informed on issues of concern.
As issues are
identified, appropriate actions are
undertaken by the staff of the office.
Members of Congress are informed of their
constituents concerns. The Presidential
Administration, its Departments are contacted.
Meetings with the President and
Administration officials are conducted.
UNIS works on YOUR behalf.
Participate in the Process.
