The Internship Program at the UCCA National
Headquarters offers students the opportunity
to better acquaint themselves with the
Ukrainian American community and Ukraine
specifically. The UCCA takes special care to
tailor each internship to the student's
interests and skills in an effort to provide
the best work experience possible.
Main tasks offered for internship program at
the UCCA National Office:
· Coordinating special projects with the
UCCA's councils and standing committees;
· Providing information about Ukraine and
the UCCA to its members and the American
public at large;
· Contributing to several UCCA publications,
including monthly bulletins;
· Researching and writing policy papers and
backgrounders on current Ukrainian issues;
· Proof reading and fact checking articles
for the Ukrainian Quarterly;
· Contributing to and updating the UCCA web
page;
· UCCA membership matters and internal
affairs; and,
· Office administration.
The UCCA requires that each student actively
participate and work a minimum of 10 hours a
week (at your convenience). This is not a
paid internship, however the UCCA will help
accommodate each student's specific
requirements to receive school credits for
his or her work at the National Headquarters
of the UCCA.
