New Ambassador of Ukraine to U.S. Responds to UCCA Letter

 Dear Mrs. Marijka,

I am sincerely grateful for your letter welcoming my appointment as Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States of America.

 I am familiar with the work of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) of the dissemination of information about Ukraine in the US and throughout the world, the strengthening of a positive image of Ukraine and the international authority of our nation, as well as the development and strengthening of U.S.-Ukraine relations.

I look forward to a successful and constructive working relationship between the Embassy and the UCCA towards the further strengthening of democracy and sovereignty in Ukraine and will be happy to meet in the near future with representatives of one of the most influential Ukrainian community organizations in the United States.
